100% AUSTRALIAN GROWN TEA

Nucifora Tea, 100% Australian grown tea, is a fresh pure single-origin black tea. Nucifora Tea Estate located in the tropical rainforest-Palmerston area of Far North Queensland was founded by Sebastian Nucifora in 1985, adjacent to the World Natural Heritage Wooroonoonan National Forest Park. With abundant sunshine and rainfall throughout the year, the fertile soil has been silently nourishing the unequalled tea trees. We never use pesticides and we have been carefully taking care of this land and the tea plants that grow on it. Only the tender young tips of the plants are harvested to provide the top-quality black tea.

  1. We buy this tea by the kilo bags as it is our good morning favourite. Both my partner and I love it and have learnt to take our own supply whenever we leave home as it is the best tasting we have found – ever! And so wonderful it is locally grown to our region (though we have got our southern family onto it too!)

  2. Our tea arrived today and it’s a lovely cuppa. I’m happy to be supporting a Queensland business and not b3 shopping around to find a good leaf tea now.

  3. Great tea. Thanks 😊

  4. This tea is so nice to drink
    Very smoothing
Knowing the area the tea is grown
You know it’s good for you,
One cup of Nucifora tea you will not drink anything else.

  6. My partner are I were looking for an Australian, single origin tea and we’re so glad we found this one. It’s smooth and has a perfectly balanced flavour.

I used to have honey in my tea but don’t even need it with this tea, it’s that good.

We drink this pretty much exclusively now (aside from the occasional chai or green tea), and have already had over 3kgs shipped to us in NSW! I rarely leave reviews but figured I should with the amount of tea I am enjoying.

Thank you for producing such a lovely tea 🙂

  7. Great tasting, pesticide free FNQ product and part of my support local ethos for years.
Will not drink any other hot beverage.

  8. I really love this tea, my search for a perfect black tea has ended. It’s delicious. Well done.

  9. Good morning to you all – what camellia plant/s are used for the tea processing?

    1. Hi Linda
Assamese tea trees are planted in our tea plantation.
      Thanks and regards

  10. Hi Kylie
I’m very sorry to tell you that our tea plantatrion is pruned and maintained on August, September and October every year, during which you can’t see beautiful tea leaves.
    Thank you for your email.
    Warmest regards
    Peter | Nucifora Tea Estate.

    1. Why the bushes are pruned every year?

    2. Hi Indika, It’s because the roots of the tea bush will need to see the sun for a certain amount of time every year to make sure the roots are healthy. Hope that could help.

  11. Absolutely delicious.. best tea I’ve tasted. Just ordered first of many.. tried some from the roadside stall driving past on holiday.. beautiful flavour and great to buy Australian no pesticides. Total winner! Yum!!

  12. Picked some up on holiday driving past the roadside.. oh my.. just placed my first of what will be many orders.. best tea I’ve tasted ( and I love my tea). Fabulous to buy an Australian grown tea that doesn’t use pesticides. Absolutely delicious!

  13. Love this tea, it is the best

  14. Hi Sebastian,
I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how wonderful I think your tea is.
My husband and I first bought your tea from your roadside stand when we were travelling from the Tablelands down to Innisfail.
I had to go out and buy a tea pot so I could make it as for years I have used only tea bags. Since drinking your tea, I vow I will never use a tea bag again! I thoroughly enjoy my cup of Nucifora Black tea every morning and I am now going out to buy a bigger tea pot so that when friends and family come over they will no longer be served the usual tea bag. I will be treating my guests to your beautiful tea made in the traditional way of brewing in a teapot. Thank you again so much for a wonderful product and honoring the earth with your chemical free farming practices.
    Kind Regards
    Jodie Slade

  15. We purchased your Black Tea from the Tourist Information Centre while traveling to Undarra Lava Tubes. Your taste is smooth and not tarty, it is a real delight to sip your tea from our Bone China cups. Keep producing this great tasting Nucifora Black Tea that is grown in North Qld

  16. Wonderful tea. I stopped and bought some when I saw the roadside stand next to the beautiful tea fields when I drove up to Atherton Tablelands the first time. It is great you have that little stand – I will get some whenever I drive up again.

  17. Instant regret not picking up more than one bag of tea! Particularly as the tea is high quality and doesn’t leave an acidic/bitter after taste, definitely one of the best black tea’s I’ve tried. I highly recommend this product.

  18. The best tasting tea ☕️ I’ve found been using for years

  19. Nucifora Black Tea is becoming a part of your life, Not only because we are pushing it, but also because you are pulling it.
